Fill the gaps without sacrificing your remaining natural teeth
Custom partial dentures that replace one or several missing teeth, blend seamlessly with your natural smile, and protect the healthy teeth you still have.
A partial denture fills the gap left by one or several missing teeth, anchoring to your remaining natural teeth with carefully designed clasps or precision attachments. The goal isn't just cosmetic — it's protective. Left unfilled, gaps let neighbouring teeth drift and rotate, which can ruin your bite, create new food traps and lead to further tooth loss.
Chris offers three framework options: affordable acrylic, ultra-thin ultra-strong chrome-cobalt, and flexible tooth-coloured valplast that needs no visible metal clasps at all. The right choice depends on how many teeth you're missing, where they are, your budget and how you want it to look.
Because Chris personally takes the impressions and designs the framework himself, your partial fits snugly, doesn't rock while you eat, and blends with your natural teeth so closely that most people will never notice.

Pricing & what to expect
Partial denture pricing varies by framework — acrylic (most affordable), chrome-cobalt (thin, strong, longer-lasting) and valplast (flexible, tooth-coloured, no visible clasps). Written quotes are provided at your free consultation.

The difference hand-craft makes
Every benefit below comes from one source: the prosthetist who makes your denture is the same person who examines you, takes the impressions and fits it.
Prevents teeth from shifting
A gap lets neighbouring teeth drift and tilt, which destroys your bite and leads to further tooth loss. A partial denture holds everything in its correct place.
Restored chewing & speech
Missing teeth can make eating uncomfortable and cause lisping. A partial denture re-establishes a complete, functional bite.
Invisible-looking clasps
Tooth-coloured flexible clasps and precision attachments avoid the unsightly metal 'hooks' of old-fashioned partials.
Lightweight & comfortable
Modern chrome-cobalt and flexible thermoplastic frameworks are feather-light yet strong enough for everyday use.
Your partial dentures sydney treatment journey
A clear, unhurried process — handled personally by Chris at every step.
Consultation & assessment
Chris assesses your remaining teeth and gums to confirm a partial denture is right for you — and that the teeth supporting it are sound.
Framework design
We choose between acrylic, chrome-cobalt or flexible valplast based on the number of teeth missing, your budget and aesthetic preference.
Precision impressions
Detailed impressions capture your exact arch and clasp positions for a rock-solid, gap-free fit.
Try-in & shade match
You preview the partial before it's finished; teeth are shade-matched to your natural teeth for a seamless blend.
Fit & adjustments
Delivered with minor clasp adjustments as needed, plus ongoing care to keep it comfortable as your mouth changes.
Partial Dentures Sydney — your questions answered
Will the metal clasps show when I smile?
Not necessarily. Where aesthetics matter — front teeth or visible sides — we can use tooth-coloured valplast clasps or precision attachments that sit completely out of view. Metal clasps are used only where they are hidden at the back.
Is a partial denture better than a bridge or implant?
Each has its place. Implants and bridges are fixed and don't need removing, but they cost considerably more and may not be suitable if bone or health is an issue. A partial denture is the most affordable, reversible option and preserves all your remaining teeth.
Can I eat normally with a partial denture?
Yes. After a brief adjustment period (usually 1–2 weeks), most patients eat everything they did before. Start with softer foods and chew evenly on both sides while your mouth adapts.
How do I care for a partial denture?
Remove and brush it daily with a soft denture brush and non-abrasive cleaner. Never use regular toothpaste — it scratches acrylic. Soak overnight in a denture cleanser and keep it moist so it doesn't warp.
